We ask to continue the monitoring of the Galactic stellar cluster Westerlund-1 in the aim of: (i) searching for radio pulsations in the transient Anomalous X-ray Pulsar (AXP) CXOU J164710.2-455216; (ii) establishing the cluster membership of PSRJ1647-4550, a pulsar serendipitously discovered in the first dataset collected in this project. We note that CXOU J164710.2-455216 is the second known transient AXP and experienced an X-ray outburst on September 2006. The only other similar source, XTEJ1810-197, has been recently shown to emit strong pulsed radio-emission, starting 12-18 months after an X-ray outburst. Monitoring CXOU J164710.2-455216 may allow to study in detail the onset of the radio-emission, thus unambigously linking its starting with the occurrence of an X-ray outburst. That may greatly contribute to clarify the nature of the radio-emission mechanism in the AXPs and the relation between them and the canonical radio pulsars. On the other hand, demonstrating that PSR J1647-4550 is a young pulsar belonging to Westerlund-1 would lead to revise our understanding of the neutron star formation, implying that also very massive stars could avoid the collapse to a black-hole.
