We report on our continuing search for planets around pulsating white dwarf stars. All stars with a main sequence mass less than ˜ 8M&sun; are expected to become white dwarf stars, so a search for planets around white dwarfs is a search around the evolutionary end point of a wide range of main sequence spectral types. We describe our project, discuss theoretical predictions that planets will survive the red giant phase and present data for some of the stars in our sample. We also present one star which we consider our best hope for possessing a companion planet.
