Accreting neutron stars in binary systems, and Sco X-1 in particular,
are considered one of the prime astrophysical targets for Earth-based
gravitational wave laser interferometers. Here we discuss a data
analysis strategy that we have developed for this class of systems which
is now being applied to the science data collected by GEO600 and LIGO.
