We request WIYN Hydra observations of A and F stars in the young cluster NGC 2264 (age 7 Myrs) for comparison to previous observations of IC 4665 (age 20 Myrs). We are searching for transient absorption lines due to falling evaporative bodies. Comparison between these two clusters will place strong constraints on the timescale of planet formation and subsequent evolution of planetesimals in the disk. We find that most planetary systems should produce mean-motion resonances strong enough to cause star impacting comets and asteroids. If orbital migration occurs then a substantial fraction of a young asteroid belt could then impact the central star resulting in a significant change in the star's metallicity.
