Results of a search for gamma ray bursts associated with the evaporation of primordial black holes are reported; for the search, upper limits to the density of primordial black hole explosions are estimated on the basis of the elementary particle model. Two ground-based extensive air-shower detection systems operating in time coincidence since 1975 provide data for the study.
