The results of a survey of the gamma burst source GBS 0526-66 made at 22
GHz, with the 13.7-m Itapetinga antenna, during 5 days in 1984 to 1985
are reported. A distinct transient was observed on 3 January 1985, 05 15
17 UT, exhibiting 21 Jy intensity and 3.5 s duration.
