The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) has acquired imaging data for 500 square degrees and spectra of 10,000 objects. The data processing system consists of two Digital Alpha systems, 2 TBytes of disk storage, and a SGI Origin 2000 system running the database. All of the reduction software runs in piplines. We present an overview of how these pipelines work together to process imaging data to store catalog information in the database. Separate pipelines produce calibration standards from the photometric telescope. Combining these calibrations with imaging data from several runs, we select spectroscopic targets and design the plug plates for spectroscopic observing. The spectra are extracted, calibrated, and classified with the spectroscopic pipelines. Calibrated data are ``pushed'' to collaborating institutions automatically.
