By observing the scintillation of radio emission due to interplanetary plasma fluctuations, we discovered a compact source in Cassiopeia A at decametre wavelengths. The angular diameters of the source at 20 and 25 MHz are 3″.0±1″.8 and 2″.9±1″.7, respectively; with the flux densities of 8000±5500 and 4300±3000 Jy. The radiation spectrum of the compact source is steep within the range 3 to 111 MHz, with a spectral index about 2. The parameters of the compact source in the Crab nebula are also given. The angular sizes of this source at the frequencies of 12.6, 16.7, 20 and 25 MHz are 3″.3±2″.3, 2″.5±1″.7, 2″±1″.2, and 1″.5±1″, and the fraction of its radiation in the total flux from the nebula is 0.7±0.2, 0.48±0.09, 0.40±0.06, and 0.33±0.04, respectively. In both Supernova remnants the spectrum without account of the compact source shows some flattening.
