The Synoptic Optical Long-term Investigations of the Sun (SOLIS) Vector Spectromagnetograph (VSM) is a state-of-the-art ground-based solar synoptic instrument providing full-disc observations of the photospheric vector magnetic field, as well as the longitudinal magnetic field at both the photospheric and chromospheric levels. After a brief introduction and description of VSM instrumentation, this talk focuses on recent science highlights utilizing VSM magnetic field data products.
