Opening in Spring 2009, the Imax film "Hubble 3D" will chronicle the history of the Hubble Space Telescope in high-resolution stereo imagery. At the Space Telescope Science Institute, we are tranforming Hubble images and data into astronomy visualizations for several science sequences in the film. This talk will discuss our work converting the Orion Nebula, the Hubble Ultra Deep Field, and other spectacular imagery into detailed 3D models and enthralling Imax visuals.
