If one assumes that the change of frequency in pulsar macro-glitches is due to the change in the moment of inertia of the rotating neutron star, then, using the available data, the authors extract a scaling law for the probability P(E) of a glitch of energy E: P(E) ≅ E-α with α ≍ 1.14. They make some comments on the physics of the observation.
