Jupiter decameter wavelength radio emissions have a well-known correlation with the orbital phase of Io. Recent analysis of Galileo spacecraft data show that Callisto, and to a lesser extent, Ganymede, influence Jovian radio emission as well. Additional data analysis from the Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft confirm the Ganymede and Callisto effects. These results are best presented as occurrence probability graphs of satellite phase versus Jovian longitude, and as frequency-time spectrograms of emission intensity where the satellite longitude is made constant. In an attempt to quantify the significance of the correlations, we have completed a statistical analysis of the results. We analyzed the peak correlations of satellite phase occurrence probability versus Jovian longitude, and found a statistically significant correlation for Io, Ganymede, and Callisto. An analysis of all four Galilean satellites is displayed. This research is supported by NASA.
