We have used the VIRUS-P IFU to target a sample of face-on disk galaxies to measure stellar population gradients. With 5 arcsecond fibers and a field of view 1.7 arcminutes on a side, VIRUS-P is a unique instrument capable of observing extremely low surface brightness regions of disk galaxies. In particular, we trace the age and metallicity of stellar populations to large radii, where the surface brightness profile truncates and is no longer described by a single exponential. We compare models where outer regions of disks are populated with low-level in situ star formation or with older stars scattered from the inner disk.
