New observations are reported of S119 in the Large Magellanic Cloud. S119 was first spectroscopically classified as an Ofpe/WN9 star by Bohannan and Walborn (1989). High resolution echelle spectra [4000 - 8000 Angstroms] obtained with ESO/NTT show the presence of bright asymmetric nebular lines, indicating an extended circumstellar nebula expanding at a velocity of approximately 25 km/sec. High resolution coronographic observations taken with the NTT in excellent seeing condition in the light of the nebular line [NII] and Hα resolve, for the first time, the nebula. An asymmetric shell with a bright bipolar structure is clearly visible, extending along the NE-SW direction. The S119 nebula shows a strong resemblance to the nebulae around two well known Luminous Blue Variables: the AG Carinae in the MW and R127 in the Large Magellanic Cloud, thus providing further evidence for an evolutionary link between Ofpe/WN9 stars and the category of Luminous Blue Variables.
