The tracking telemetry and telecommand system for scientific balloon was
developed and will be used for transmission of the signal of Balloon
Solar Telescope. This paper describes the design of the communications
link from the balloon to the ground-based terminal. The procedure
followed to arrive at an overall signal and system design is outlined.
