The spin-forbidden singly excited Rydberg transitions of the Be isoelectronic series up to Z = 10 are investigated theoretically by means of nonrelativistic time-dependent coupled Hartree-Fock computations. The theoretical basis of the method is outlined, and the results are presented in extensive tables and discussed in detail. Good general agreement with published experimental data is reported, and the applicability of the results to astrophysical observations of intercombination lines is indicated.
