The Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer Guest Observer Facility generates
a series of standard data products for every individual observation
before delivering the data to the HEASARC data archive. From
these products, we have compiled basic statistics such as average
source and background count rates from each instrument (PCA
and HEXTE clusters A and B) in several energy bands. The
standard products and these associated statistics are now being
used to generate several new data products designed to
improve access and use of the RXTE data archive. These
include for each proposal merged HEXTE light curves showing
high energy time variability of sources spanning each observing
cycle, and mission-long light curves for about two hundred
sources that have been observed 50 times or more with RXTE.
For the merged light curves, gif files and FITS files are generated
for each source in a given proposal. For mission-long light
curves, plots of PCA Standard 1 net count rate, HEXTE net
count rate, and two hardness ratios are produced. The result
for many X-ray sources is a set of well-sampled light curves
covering the past eleven years of the RXTE mission. Some
sources show multiple outbursts, and others display secular
changes during this period. In this poster we will present a
subset of X-ray sources which show surprising variability
during the RXTE mission.
