The first photometric analysis of the W UMa system RT LMi, based on B and V light curves is presented. With the Wilson-Devinney synthetic light curve program, a preliminary unspotted solution was obtained by the grid searching technique, and a photometric mass ratio was derived. Finally, the light curves were modeled by introducing large spots on both components to represent the observed light curve asymmetries. The system is possibly a marginally evolved W-type system.
