Light and colour curves of the eclipsing binary system RS Indi obtained from 2484 UBV observations in each passband are presented. Eighteen times of minimum light are derived in each colour. The analysis of the period including previously determined photographic minima reveals that it is decreasing at a rate of 0.0185 s/yr. The secondary component is found to be an overluminous object. The overall picture of the system suggests that the more massive component is transferring matter to the secondary one through the inner Lagrangian point.
