Rate coefficients are presented for the rotational excitation of OH by para-H2 in its rotational ground state. The authors believe that these results will be useful for astrophysical studies of the far-infrared rotational transitions of OH, as well as the OH masers. An outstanding discrepancy in the potential energy expansion for the OH-H2 system is also discussed.
