The edge-on galaxy NGC 5907 has been studied by radio astronomers. Their observations revealed two-channel maps roughly symmetrical with respect to the center of the system and a significant bending of the outer gas layers at 8 arcmin from the center. The dynamical symmetry is confirmed up to 4 arcmin. Six spectra have been taken along the major axis; on the assumption of a distance of 4.6 Mpc, a mass of 50 billion solar masses is found. The mass-to-light ratio is 10 in solar units.
