ROTAT at OHP is a remote observatory of the Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics of the University of Tübingen at the Observatoire de Haute Provènce. Targeted on educational purposes, it permits the user to accomplish observations in real time via the internet. In this paper we give an overview of the software architecture used to control the various facilities at the remote site, as well as a short introduction to a simple workflow language for astronomical observations used at our robotic telescope in Tübingen.
