We present the results of ROSAT PSPC observations of the late-type spiral galaxies NGC 55, NGC 247 and NGC 300, all of which are members of the nearby Sculptor Group. One or more of the discrete X-ray sources detected in each PSPC field appears to be associated with the target galaxy, with the inferred luminosity of the brightest X-ray source in each galaxy ranging from 0.9 - 6 x 10^38 ergs/s. In the case of NGC 55, there is extended X-ray emission coincident with the optical bar region. There is also some evidence for diffuse emission associated with the disks of NGC 247 and NGC 300, although source confusion is a problem at these faint surface brightness levels. The integrated (0.4--2 keV) X-ray luminosities of the galaxies range from 1.3 - 9 x 10^38 ergs/s, in reasonable agreement with predicted values based on the previously established correlation of optical B magnitude and X-ray luminosity for spiral galaxies.
