Wolff, Edwards and Preston (1982) report a clear distinction in the distribution of projected rotational velocities between among the early- type stars located in the dense Orion Nebula Cluster region and lower density regions of the Orion Association. We propose here to examine and further quantify the possible role of initial stellar density in determining angular momenta among intermediate mass stars from observations of two additional regions of comparable age ( 10 Myr): the low density I Lac Association and the high density h and chi Persei complex. These observations offer the promise of understanding the possible roles of disk locking combined with disk lifetimes and/or accretion rates in fixing initial stellar angular momenta.
