The Wilson-Devinney Roche model is used to reanalyze the light curves of two short-period eclipsing binaries, ST Car and RY Ind. The results show that, for ST Car, the photometric mass ratio is q of about 0.50, and that both are detached systems with the less massive components almost filling their Roche lobes. Their photometric features indicate that they are probably after the Algol state in their evolution.
