The Real-Time Interactive Solar Observatory (RISO) is an online portal that allows schools worldwide to log in via the internet and control the telescopes at Columbus State University's Mead Observatory. Users of RISO are able to view live video of the Sun, image the Sun, and complete activities while observing the Sun, all from their own classroom. Debuted in 2007, RISO will begin its full observing schedule in January 2008. In this oral presentation, we will highlight the features of RISO and will discuss the current activities users can complete with RISO. We will also discuss the future activities, such as a cloudy day simulator and field of view calculations that are currently in development. Support for RISO has been provided by NASA through the Georgia Space Science Grant Consortium.
