In order to investigate space densities in the outer regions of the Milky Way, a series of relatively small starfields (less than about 0.5 sq deg) have been observed with the Basle RGU three-color photometry system. Observations of the field were made in an anticenter direction, and reddening, density and luminosity functions were determined for about 1700 stars. Several G-fractioned two-color diagrams indicated moderate to heavy interstellar absorption corresponding to color excesses in two absorbing screens. Absolutely bright stars of the group M(G) (less than 0 m) were detected as far away as 20 kpc from the sun. Logarithmic space density functions were determined for late-type giants and for main-sequence stars of population I for different intervals in maximum magnitude. The density function for the late-type stars exceeded that of the main-sequence stars starting at 2 kpc and continued to increase with distance from the sun. The luminosity functions for the distance intervals 0.6 to 1.6 kpc and 1.6 to 4 kpc were found to correspond to those of a previous study. The data are recorded in a series of tables.
