Preliminary results on the calibration of the RGU photometric system in terms of atmospheric physical parameters are presented. Six stars with δ(U-G) excess are studied in three different fields: SA 54, SA 57, and M35. They are found metal deficient, in the range -0.6 ≤ [M/H]_sun;* ≤ -2.5. These results are consistent with the calibration of the RGU photometry based on synthetic spectra.
