The revision of the limiting-volume test (V/Vmax) on the basis of consideration of both quasar density and luminosity evolution is discussed. The quasar luminosity-redshift relationship curve is obtained by statistics of the regression procedure with truncated data, from which the incompleteness-compensated factors for each source is given, and the density law is obtained by the revised V/Vmax test. The revised V/Vmax test is used to analyze optical and radio samples of 3CR and 4C including the 3CR X-ray sample. The results show that the space-density law of quasars is relative to the decleration parameter at the 90 percent confidence level. The results are presented in graphs and tables.
