The goals of this jitter OLT are to assess the pointing performance of HST using data from a science instrument, to identify modes of oscillation and compare them with structural models, and to verify that normal operations procedures with respect to mechanism motions during science observations are acceptable. This test will provide data at high frequencies which is unattainable with analysis of FGS data. The data in the 20-75Hz range will provide valuable information to the CO-STAR designers. THIS TEST REQUIRES SPECIAL COMMANDING and MANUAL TRANSFORMATION. REAL-TIME DOWNLINKS ARE NECESSARY FOR FOR TARGET ACQUISITION, FOR HIGH RATE HSP DATA, and FOR CONTROL OF TAPE RECORDER MECHANISM MOTIONS. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF EXPOSURE LINE COMMENTS. Validation unable to handle parallel reqs correctly: Please contact Lupie, Balzano, McCollough, Younger. with questions. Latest Revision 6/24/91 (oll).
