The occultation of SAO 79100 by Rhea (Saturn V) was observed photoelectrically. Analysis of the continuous chart record of the occultation led to the interpretation that the star SAO 79100 is double. The first occultation was of a star whose light was 0.36 that of Rhea while the second occultation was of the companion star, whose light was 0.27 that of Rhea. The separation of the two stars along the apparent direction of motion of Rhea is calculated to be 0.039 arc sec, and the duration of each occultation leads to a minimum value for the value of Rhea of 1325 plus or minus 10 km.
