The structure is discussed of the Malakal meteorite, which fell in the Sudan at the beginning of August 1970. The primary minerals proved to be olivine, orthopyroxene, nickel iron, and troilite. Chemical analysis was performed separately on the magnetic and nonmagnetic portions of the meteorite, and according to the resulting data, this meteorite belongs to the L group of chondrites. Mineralogically, it is shown to belong to the hypersthene olivine chondrites. The radiogenic ages of the meteorite were computed.
