The results of a restoration of the vertical temperature profile in the atmosphere at heights of 3 to 20 km are presented. The restoration is based on the refraction of light as measured in films of the rising and setting of the sun and moon made from Salyut-6. The results are in good agreement with data from aerological soundings of the atmosphere from stations in regions of minimum ray heights.
