Millisecond Pulsar, Wavelet Transform, Dispersion Limited, De-Noising Method

Scientific paper

In this paper, the theory of the wavelet analysis and its application to the de-noising process is introduced. The weak millisecond pulsar signal by de-noising method based on the wavelet threshold is detected. The soft threshold and hard threshold methods are also introduced. When J equals to 5, the result is available for PSR J0437-4715 signal. The experimental results show that the de-noising method based on the wavelet threshold is a good manner in extracting useful signal and displaying noise and mutable signal.
