This is an extension of the observing program described in AAVSO Alert Notice 348. Dr. Gordon Sarty, University of Saskatchewan, Canada, has requested BVRI photometry of four High Mass X-ray Binaries (1936+541, AUID 000-BDC-070; RX J2030.5+4751, AUID 000-BDC-306; 2202+501, AUID 000-BDC-509; 2206+543, AUID 000-BDC-531) for the month of May 2008. Dr. Sarty will be acquiring spectroscopy of the HMXBs to measure their radial velocities and determine their orbital periods. The optical photometry will also be analyzed for other periods and variations. Amateur observations, such as those contributed to the AAVSO International Database, are very valuable in helping to find the true distribution of HMXB orbital periods.
