Seyfert Galaxies: Uv Continuum, Seyfert Galaxies: Iron Lines

The strength of the ultraviolet continuum of Seyfert 1 galaxies is not
correlated to the equivalent width of the Fe Kα emission line.
Furthermore it is up to 30 times too large to be explained by standard
reprocessing models. The big blue bump is therefore not emitted through
reprocessing by the same matter which produces the Fe Kα line.
