Analytical expressions describing the effect of sun motion, galaxy rotation, and precession corrections in the proper motions of stars are expanded into a series in spherical functions. Explicit expressions are obtained for the first 68 coefficients, and their physical meaning is clarified. Relations describing the behavior of the series expansion coefficients are established.
