Two-Body Problem: Relativistic Effects
Scientific paper
The author uses Kepler's eccentric anomaly in order to get explicit equations for the planetary orbits in a solar system. By successively modifying the corresponding Lagrangian, he builds a Lagrangian for a relativistic two-body problem, the trajectories of which are conics in Minkowski space. The equations of these trajectories, projected on a three-space, exhibit new anomalies.
