Universe: Relativistic Gas

Scientific paper

For a spinless collisionless gas in an isotropic universe exact solutions of the self-consistent Einstein-Cartan-Vlasov equation system are obtained in the nonrelativistic and ultrarelativistic limit. The investigations are carried out for different irreducible parts of the torsion tensor and different values of the cosmological constant. It is shown that the torsion creates a curvature-type effect. The solution is singular at t = 0. Furthermore, it is proved that the asymptotic behaviour of the scale factor a(η) in the ultrarelativistic limit for torsion, which is expressed by its trace, can be different from the Friedmann's one.
