A sample of groups of galaxies is studied to clarify the question of the frequency of occurrence of Markarian galaxies (MGs) in different groups and among single galaxies. The dependence of the characteristics of groups on the presence of MGs in them is also studied. The following results are obtained: 1) The frequency of occurrence of MGs is statistically lower in groups of galaxies than among single galaxies. It decreases in the transition from small groups to relatively numerous groups. 2) Other characteristics of groups do not depend on the presence of MGs in them.
