The paper obtains solutions to a number of model problems concerning the reflection of Alfven waves from the horizontally irregular ionosphere (modeled as a half-plane, a circle, or a strip) in the case when the incident wave has an arbitrary spatial structure. The incident Alfven wave decomposes into a set of spectral harmonics. Reflection coefficients are obtained for an arbitrary spectral harmonic, making it possible to establish a coordinate representation.
