The reflectance spectra of iron meteorite powders and roughened slabs
(hexahedrites, octahedrites, ataxites) all exhibit red-sloped spectra
across the 0.35-2.5 µm range. This suggests that their parent
bodies may not be spectrally distinguishable from one another.
