A complex arrangement of three very-long-baseline interferometers (VLBIs) is examined which in many cases would provide an opportunity for improving the accuracy with which various parameters of importance in geodynamics and astrometry can be determined. Specifically, a radio interferometer triangle (RIT) is considered in which the baselines of three VLBIs form the sides of a triangle with a radio telescope at each of the three vertices. Model calculations for three quasars observed from an RIT with baselines of 5586, 6302, and 7049 km are performed to provide a comparative estimate of the accuracies with which several parameters can be determined by the VLBI method from each baseline separately and from a general solution to the set of equations for the entire RIT.
