Redshifts for galaxies, including the clusters ZW 9-19 and Klemola 27, in the ESO/SRC survey field 444 are presented based on observations carried out in May 1980 and April 1981 with the 1.52-m ESO telescope in La Silla. Satisfactory agreement is found with previous data. The surveyed sky area contains the Hydra/Centaurus supercluster with mean radial velocities between 3000 and 5000 km/s, behind which seems to be a large empty space extending out to a redshift of about 9000 km s.
