For the Walraven VBLUW and Johnson UBV system, reddening relations are investigated for emission line objects: emission nebulae, planetary nebulae, supernova remnants. In contrast with the reddening relations derived empirically for supernova remnants, the reddening relations calculated for planetary nebulae and emission nebulae seem to be different from the known reddening relations derived for stars, i.e. continuum sources.
