We reconstruct the composite spectral energy distribution (SED) in the continuum between 0.12 and 5 μ of symbiotic binaries by a three-component model of radiation. Two stellar components are from the hot and the cool star, while the nebular radiation is from the ionized circumbinary medium. We demonstrate this method on examples of symbiotic stars in quiescent phase (EG And) and in outburst (CI Cyg).
