Some progress in the study of polar magnetic field made in Huairou Solar Observing Station (HSOS) of Beijing Astronomical Observatory is summarized. These results include: polar magnetic elements incline from the normal of solar surface much more than the magnetic features of quiet Sun. The elements of polar field share same range of lifetime as magnetic field in quiet region, e.g., from several to more than dozens of hour. The high latitude differential rotation rate deduced from magnetic elements trace is well consistent with previous results from other methods.
