Recent results on 3C 273, one of the nearest and brightest quasars at high photon energies from observations with Rosat, Ginga, (Japanese X-ray satellite), High Energy X-ray Experiment (HEXE), Gamma Ray Observatory (GRO) and ground based instruments are discussed. Two Rosat observations clearly establish a time variable 'soft excess' spectral component, the second observation being simultaneous with Ginga allows construction of a combined spectrum from 0.1 keV to 20 keV; a combined HEXE/Ginga spectrum (1.5 to 150 keV) constrains 'pairs and reflection'; multifrequency observations in Jun./Jul. 1991, including data from GRO, will provide a 'snapshot' spectrum from radio frequencies to high energy gamma rays.
