The RXTE All-Sky Monitor (ASM) supports numerous observations and investigations by giving early notice of interesting cosmic X-ray activity, and by the astrophysics that directly and indirectly is derived from the X-ray light curves. We will describe the results of a comprehensive reprocessing of the ASM data base, which include the discovery of a faint X-ray nova, a new source associated with a Be star, and a strong flare in a star with an active corona. Our efforts to reduce the effects of contamination of scattered solar X-rays and to manage the effects of source confusion during the fitting process will be described. We will also report on possible approaches to enhance the display of light curves, and to make scientific analysis easier. The latter will include software for use in manipulating and displaying ASM light curve data and that will be made available to the astrophysics community.
