By means of GPS technique, a grid module of the ionsphere with a 0.5 hours by 0.1 degrees by 0.1 degrees (time by longitude by latitude) has been established for real-time precise monitoring the vertical TEC [Total Electron Content] over the area of Shanghai Comprehensive GPS Application Network. In every 30 minutes, one TEC map which shows the detailed distribution of TEC over this area is acquired and used for real-time correction to ionosphere delay of GPS receiver with single frequency.
